Syed Hassan Ali Khan Barha : ウィキペディア英語版
Syed Hassan Ali Khan Barha
Syed Hassan Ali Khan Barha (1666 – 12 October 1722), one of the Sayyid Brothers, was a key figure in the Mughal Empire under Farrukhsiyar.
Barha was one of the main backers of Farrukhsiyar's rise to the throne. He initially served as bakshi for the empire. He was also early on given the command of the forces sent to bring Ajit Singh Rathor into line with the imperial wish.
After Barha and his brother fell out with the Emperor, Barha was appointed governor of the Deccan with more authority than any previous Mughal governor. Farrukhsiyar convinced the governor of Khandesh province, Daud Khan Panni to rebel against Barha. Daud Khan Panni was defeated and this led to increased distrust between the Emperor and Barha.
